Used to carry both supplies and commissions, the knapsack is arguably the most vital item among a gleaner's possessions.Inside rests an orderly clutter of tools, wrapped parcels, spare parchment, and carefully bundled finds from her adventures.

     Sharlayan tea     
A herbal drink with impressive medicinal properties. Sometimes called "mountain tea."A small metal flask tucked securely at her belt, filled with strong, fragrant tea brewed before dawn. She takes it in careful sips between tasks to steady her thoughts and chase away fatigue when the road grows long.

A well-worn leather field journal never far from her side, its pages thick with pressed specimens, careful notes, and folded maps. More than a record of her findings, it holds the quiet story of her journeysthis is her most prized possession, and the one thing she would never leave behind.

     Family       As a child in the Skatay Range, Eirlys was no stranger to the beauty and dangers of the wilds. Yet, her life was forever changed the day Garlean soldiers raided her village. In the chaos, her younger brother was struck down, an innocent life lost amidst the violence. She had clung to him, helpless as the light in his eyes faded, powerless to stop the bloodshed. That harrowing moment etched in her memory, ignited a fire within her; a vow that she would dedicate her life to helping others and protecting the fragile thread of life from being so easily severed.Her parents, recognizing the resolve born from her grief, made the difficult decision to take Eirlys to Old Sharlayan. There, they entrusted her to the care of the Studium, believing her innate talent for magic would flourish in its hallowed halls. Alone in an unfamiliar city, Eirlys poured herself into her studies, embracing the arts of conjury and astrology, finding comfort in the balance between the earth’s healing and the stars’ guidance.Years later, she became a gleaner, combining her magical skills with her insatiable thirst for knowledge. Traveling across Eorzea and beyond, she honored her brother’s memory by preserving the world’s stories and healing those she encountered, striving always to shield others from the pain she once endured.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to look at my carrd.

I work part time as a medical professional, and FFXIV is my biggest form of downtime outside of work. If I'm not in game, I'm likely playing other games (Darktide my beloved), painting my warhammer armies, watching brainrot with friends, or spending time with my exotic pets.
If we get along and vibe well, I'm always down to share my discord for contact outside of the game. I've been roleplaying for over 10 years throughout the 'net, and am happy to work with discord RPs when in-game doesn't fit schedules.

A renowned researcher from Old Sharlayan commissions Eirlys to retrieve rare specimens from a hazardous location. The mission is more perilous than expected, requiring the aid of skilled adventurers to succeed.
